Overview

Momo doesn’t have many moves, but Momo doesn’t need many moves due to the overwhelming damage potential of Undermine, and Knockback. When these moves are off hold, it outputs an amount of damage that virtually nothing can tank effectively thanks to Momo's trait Stabmaster. When these moves are on hold, or stamina is low, Momo can either risk finishing enemies off with Double-Edge or use one of its utility moves to weaken or disable enemies. Momo's biggest weakness is the requirement to pivot it safely onto the field to get Undermine and Knockback off hold, as Momo's physical bulk is lacking.

Description

(1.3 DUKE'S NOTES - THIS THING IS STILL AN ABSOLUTE CANNON, JUST DON'T RUN RESISTANCE BADGE ANYMORE UNLESS YOU REALLY REALLY NEED IT.)

Removed from its insane power spike when it had Unseen Blow, Momo is a tem with a very weak turn one, but it reaches insane levels of power afterwards with Stabmaster boosting Knockback and Undermine.

This set uses Nutrition Bar and Refresh to turn Momo into a setup sweeper, using the extra special attack boost to obliterate threats after a Refresh power-up. You generally want to use Undermine a lot more than Knockback, since Refresh's healing can in no way outpace the damage from opposing threats and Knockback's self-damage. Willpower Drain is a great fourth technique, helping Momo to keep its stamina up and slow down opposing threats. Double-Edge can be picked for turn one damage, now that its defensive buffs are less potent it can deal good damage to opponents on turn one.

Tems that can threaten mentals like Myx, increase Momo's defenses like Kinu, or buff up its offenses, like 0b10, make good partners.
